Remediation checklist

  1. Cancel or reduce capacity add-ons shown as cancellable - at renewal, or immediately if monthly.
  2. Reclaim unassigned premium seats (reduce subscription quantity).
  3. Remove premium licenses from disabled accounts today - zero user impact.
  4. Reassign owners for orphaned flows/apps before they break silently.
  5. Verify usage on the no-footprint list in the admin center, then reclaim what's truly idle.
  6. Delete empty environments after owner sign-off.
  7. Move heavy attachments out of Dataverse (File/DB) into SharePoint where storage is ~200x cheaper per GB.
  8. Re-run PowerScout after each license true-up; entitlements and usage both drift.
